I'm Tadiwa Mbuwayesango, founder of LEARN-X and a Computer Engineering student at Iowa State. I build education tools, lead student AI initiatives, and study finance so I can understand the business side of what I build.

I founded LEARN-X to help students study from the actual material their professors give them. The product turns lectures, PDFs, and slide decks into shorter lessons and practice questions. It is built with a RAG pipeline and Canvas LMS integration and has 84 beta users.
I study Computer Engineering at Iowa State and have also spent time on finance through the FINRA SIE, Adventis FMC II, the CFA Research Challenge, and a VC deal-sourcing externship at igniteXL Ventures.
Outside LEARN-X, I lead the AI@ISU Innovation Challenge with 100+ students, serve on the Iowa State Student Government Finance Committee, and co-host TechNologia Talks with Elvis Kimara.
Most of my time goes into LEARN-X, finance coursework and research, and student-led projects at Iowa State.
